We are grieved to hear that Dr Patrick Shaw Cable passed away last weekend (April 11/12, 2020).

Marina Monsisvais also remembered Dr Patrick Shaw Cable on KTEP in her April 18th, 2020 radio show "State of the Arts."

Dr Patrick Shaw Cable wrote the introduction to our Desert Triangle catalog (on pages 4 and 5).

More importantly, as Senior Curator he gave us our first big exhibition at the El Paso Museum of Art, from January 31 to May 22, 2016.

We enjoyed working with Dr Patrick Shaw Cable very much, and thank him and Christian Gerstheimer for bringing the Desert Triangle to the El Paso Museum of Art.


Previously Dr Patrick Shaw Cable had worked as a curator for the Art Gallery of Hamilton, Ontario (Canada), and after working at the El Paso Museum of Art he became the Chief Curator at the Taubman Museum of Art in Roanoke, Virginia.
